CAG Meeting #1
Was held on, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 9:00AM - 11:00AM at the MCDOT Conference Room
The McHenry County Division of Transportation (MCDOT) is committed to abide by the principals of Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) for the Fleming Road project. For that reason, the MCDOT is forming a Community Advisory Group (CAG) to assist with the project. We are reaching out to key project stakeholders to participate on the CAG.
The CAG will meet with County officials and TranSystems, the project consultant, throughout the study phase of the project. The CAG meetings will offer a forum to provide project information, discuss project issues, and obtain CAG member input, leading to a consensus on the Fleming Road improvements. The role of the CAG will be in an advisory capacity. Detailed engineering and technical information will be presented to the CAG over the course of the study phase as information is developed. In this way, the CAG will function as a community liaison, or pipeline, between the MCDOT and the public. Stakeholders not on the CAG and the general public are welcome at all CAG meetings as observers, and opportunities to ask questions will be provided during the Question and Answer session after the meeting. In addition to the CAG meetings, other venues will be scheduled offering other occasions for public participation. A second Public Meeting is anticipated for late summer or early fall.
The following items are anticipated to be discussed at the first CAG meeting:
- Introduction of CAG Members
